Our Story

     Growing up with two immigrant parents, I would hear stories about their “pueblo” in Mexico and how much they missed it. When holidays came around, they would describe their homeland as a magical place full of love, art and beauty. I quickly realized that this is something that almost all immigrants struggle with. That is when I decided to do something to try to help my parents and hopefully many others that miss their homeland.

     I created Mis Raizes candles to help others stay connected to their homeland through the sense of smell. We all know that there are certain smells that trigger beautiful memories of our childhoods, homes and families. Through our line of candles, our goal is to help people feel connected to their roots and turn their current living space into a Home away from Home.
